Written and recorded across studios, apartments, and late-night sessions over more than ten years, the album grew from instinct rather than structure, with each track beginning as a feeling that had to be explored and earned its place by moving him first. Rooted in house and techno but never confined by them, the album rebuilds those foundations into something more fluid and expressive, balancing raw dancefloor energy with deeper emotional and philosophical intent.

Across the project, collaborations with artists like Stephan Nero, Future Films, Janae Catt, and Destin Markland add texture, emotion, and edge;  the result is a body of work that, in the words of The New Ways himself, centres on:

“Metamodernism the refusal to choose between earnestness and detachment; my north star. These tracks trace a decade of movement: physical movement, yes, but also philosophical movement. Each song is a timestamp of where I was in my evolution as an artist and a human being.”

Deeply human and unfiltered, The Danceables Collection invites listeners to experience that journey in real time, through sound that is as physical as it is thoughtful.

The New Ways, the alias of Shelbric Fuller, is an electronic artist whose career has taken him across the globe – Miami to New York and eventually Berlin, where his sound found its edge. With over twenty years of experience, he started out rooted in house and techno before gradually developing his own niche within the electronic soundscape; a sound that pulls from across the entire spectrum.  From the haunting atmosphere of The Forgetting to the warped nostalgia of The Polaroid Conspiracy, his work reflects a constant evolution and a refusal to stay in one place creatively. Now part of the Kneaded Pains roster and running his own Dysfunct RecordsThe New Wayscontinues to push forward with new releases and a retrospective discography that captures over a decade of growth. His sound is bold, restless, and always moving, shaped by instinct as much as experience.
