Trancefam’s own “fam” scores release on Sied van Riel’s label ‘Maple Valley’

Hello Trancefam! Please forgive the nature of this post as it has been flagged editorial because of the obvious self-promotion! Writing about one’s home town is always a bit hard. However, if you listen to ‘Maple Valley’ (out now on Rielism Records) then you will experience the track named after a town I grew up in. The song is a collaboration between XiJaro & Pitch featuring Artifi, including vocals from yours truly throughout the entire track.

What began as a compilation Black Hole Recordings, Maple Valley eventually gained enough support to receive its own extended mix release. It is truly an honor to be a part of this! There is more good news Trancefam…on the week of its release (October 30th, 2017) the track eventually rose to #47 on the Beatport Trance Top 100, gaining support from artists such as Ferry Corsten, Bjorn Atkinson (Akessen), and many other DJs/artists from the Seattle Trance Family. The good news is: there is more work coming from me in the future, so stay tuned on that!

Working a full-time schedule in addition to being a full-time college student doesn’t leave one with a whole lot of time to work on side projects. The most rewarding thing about Maple Valley is having contributed with everyone else who worked to see the song come to light. Isn’t it nice to see artwork flourish?

More about the release:

One of the most exciting producers in the scene, XiJaro & Pitch, make their debut on Rielism with this brilliant peak-time trance record called Maple Valley, alongside Artifi. First appearing on Rielism Four mixed by Sied van Riel, the extended mix of this feel-good, fast paced, melodic and uplifting trance ballad enriched with blissful vocals is here. We hope you’ll enjoy this one as much we do. Turn it up and keep it Riel!
